The high fashion brand dedicate a capsule collection to their environmental work.

Before designers can dress the world, they have to protect it — a mission which Dsquared2 have spent several years chasing in their pursuit to reduce environmental impact and maximise social impact within their work. Having brought their research to fruition, Dean and Dan Caten launch their new capsule, ONE LIFE ONE PLANET — a collection of mens and women sweatshirts, t-shirts, joggers and shorts made of recycled and ethically sourced cotton.

Speaking of the project, Dsquared2 explained, “We started with the creative process, looking at fabrics which reduce, for certain aspects, their environmental impact and at innovative ways to process and finish products”.

Ensuring all materials are organic and responsibly sourced, the ONE LIFE ONE PLANET capsule uses GOTS certified organic cotton for the graphic printed t-shirts and sweatshirts, available in a bold collection of spring-suited colours. For their selection of bombers and jerseys, a mix of recycled cotton and recycled nylon is used — keeping the entire capsule certified by international voluntary standards. Revolutionising their denim products, the label use a new technique from an organic cotton drill, maximising comfort with an innovative stretch yarn, while conserving the environment with over 50% recycled content used.

And, if there was not enough to satisfy your shopping itch in the one capsule, Dsquared2 simultaneously unveil a Smiley collection made specifically for Spring/Summer 2022. Finished with a bold smiley face accent and a green maple leaf, the collection transcends gender and seasons — offering a couture element to ethical wear.

Complete with a range of holiday-approved accessories from espadrilles to totes to bucket hats, ONE LIFE ONE PLANET makes an astronomical first step in paving a better future for Dsquared2 — as well as the world itself. The capsule will be available to shop from April 2022 onwards, to discover more head to dsquared2.com now.
