The luxurious storefront is a must-see, complete with exclusive mens and women’s collections to celebrate the reopening

Giorgio Armani has undergone a certain spring cleaning itself, as their Rodeo Drive boutique has reopened following a complete makeover. The exquisite storefront greets you with two side windows surrounding a central entrance, with decorative motif palm trees that mimic the iconic landmarks lining Rodeo Drive. A large, pale gold Armani icon sits atop the windows, which invite you into the open-air, luxurious space.

The storefront first opened in August 1988, inspired by the Californian spirit and Hollywood cinema. Armani himself built strong relationships within the world of film and music, and was the first designer to receive the Rodeo Drive Walk of Style in 2003. Perched along one of the world’s most famous luxury shopping streets, the space totals at 854 meters, solidifying it as one of Armani’s largest retail buildings and making it a landmark for international A-listers.

Once inside, the ground floor hosts women’s accessories, eyewear, Armani beauty and Armani Privé fragrances. Walk up the dominating staircase, and you reach the second level, characterized by a scenographic, luminous wall that depicts palm tree silhouettes, holds a VIP room, women’s jewelry, evening dresses and accessories, and men’s accessories and eyewear. It also boasts a space dedicated to the formal and Made to Measure collections. A mezzanine nestled between the two main floors hosts men’s seasonal collection and, for the first time ever in an Armani boutique, the store has a room dedicated solely to Made to Order for women.

Armani himself collaborated closely on the space with an in-house team of architects. The furniture, carpets and lamps all come from the Armani/Casa collection. With inspiration drawn from international flagship boutiques, the space boasts themed rooms complete with marble and onyx floors and accentuated by platinum-colored metal fixtures, silk walls, and marmorino ceilings.

In celebration of the reopening, Armani has designed an exclusive line of men’s and women’s eveningwear. The women’s palette dons a striking “Armani Gold”—a pale, neutral gold tone that is a brand signature— and pieces are embellished with paillettes and crystals. The men’s palette is predominantly navy and black materialized in velvet and jacquard, with signature embroidery.

You can find the newly renovated store located at 436 North Rodeo Drive, Beverly Hills. Exclusive to the boutique, the collections will be on preview sale from mid-March until the end of April.
