It seems Chanel, Kristen Stewart, and Cannes Film Festival is a winning combination. Not that we’re surprised. While the actor’s style has evolved over the course of her career, one thing has stayed the same through most of it and that’s her loyalty to the luxury French house. That relationship continued at an event in Cannes this week for her new movie, Crimes of the Future, to which the Twilight actor wore a scarlet red Chanel suit in the traditional grid design the brand is known for.

While the suit is from the Chanel Cruise 2023 collection, Stewart ditched the undershirt and matching hat that was seen on the model on the runway. In addition to going braless, K.Stew put her personal spin on this tweed Chanel further with the addition of a pair of chunky black platform heels and gold-tinted sunglasses that gave a ’70s edge to the outfit.

In an interview with WWD, Stewart discussed how grateful she is to have worked with Chanel all these years. Whether she’s wearing the brand to a movie premiere, at a fashion week event, or at the Cannes Film Festival, as seen here, the 32-year-old actor has been a faithful famous face for Chanel. We love a consistent icon. “I’ve been allowed to excavate my own story within Chanel’s continuous stories,” she explained.

Working alongside her longtime stylist Tara Swennen, Stewart also joked that her various unorthodox fashion choices probably “drive these people crazy.” She added, “But no one ever really gets mad at me, I’m always encouraged to do my thing.” Cut that Chanel in half Kristen, we support you!
