They’re back, baby!
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were photographed hand-in-hand (aww) while departing the National Service of Thanksgiving at St Paul’s Cathedral on Friday, June 3—their first public appearance at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee, which is taking place between June 2 and June 5 in celebration of her 70 years on the British Throne. (After appearing at Trooping the Colour on Thursday, however, 96-year-old Queen Elizabeth II said she would not be attending the Thanksgiving service owing to “discomfort” she felt yesterday.)
The Duchess of Sussex was properly photographed for the affair, which, thank god, because now we have a detailed look at the full fit, as opposed to yesterday’s passing glimpses. (Will we ever know if her navy dress was a rewear??)
Meghan Markle kept her look monochromatic, from her Stephen Jones hat and diamond earrings all the way down to her gloved fingertips and stiletto heels. Her belted coat is from Dior’s Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2022 collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri. The brand said in a statement that the shirt and skirt Meghan is wearing under the coat is from the same collection.
