Julianne Moore attended the 2022 Venice International Film Festival’s ‘Cinema Danieli – An Unforgettable Story’ cocktail event as the president of the jury on Tuesday (August 30).
I was already excited for both Tessa Thompson and Jodie Turner-Smith’s appearance at this festival but knowing that Julianne will be serving several looks will be the gift that keeps on giving, as we know from Cannes that Julianne turns it on during European film festivals.
Her first look was a confetti dots printed silk dress with leather heart-shaped bustier from the Alaïa Spring 2023 collection.
Honestly, I don’t think the bustier is as flattering on her as it was on the runway.
I wonder if nipping the skirt in under the bust would’ve improved things, because I don’t believe styling the look as we see on the runway was the key to making this work.
I actually prefer her low-key Gucci arrival look which included an uber chic navy Gucci Love Parade blazer.
