LuisaViaRoma x UNICEF Capri Gala 2022 Red Carpet

Vanessa Hudgens and Sofia Carson were joined by a host of models and actresses on the red carpet for the LuisaViaRoma for Unicef event held at La Certosa di San Giacomo on Saturday (July 30) in Capri, Italy.

Natasha Poly wore an Alaïa oversized shirt with a mini bubble pleated skirt from the Spring 2022 collection which was definitely one of the more modern, and less expected looks on this red carpet.

She styled her look with Rene Caovilla sandals and Repossi jewels.

While Jasmine Tookes wearing Zuhair Murad is predictable, but the style of dress is not.

Her black blouson sleeve gown with jewelled bodice and cuffs was oozing with medieval magnificence.

Nathalie Emmanuel may have transitioned out of summer, but she was still one of the best dressed at this event wearing an Alberta Ferretti Fall 2022 eggplant hued dress styled with Gianvito Rossi sandals.

This was a case of second time lucky for this dress, because Mandy Moore didn’t sell it to me when she wore it for her guest appearance on Jimmy Fallon back in May.

It was a case of third and fourth time’s the charm as Maria Sillandi and Tamara Kalinic both wore the same Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello cut-out dress from the Spring 2022 collection, which was first worn by Nicole Kidman to the 2021 CMA Awards, and Emma Appleton at the ‘Pistol’ London premiere.

This is becoming almost as popular as Maggie Gyllenhaal’s Lanvin Fall 2022 dress.

The Saint Laurent Spring 2022 collection was popular on this red carpet as Alizée Gamberini wore the red one-shoulder jumpsuit which is also a re-run as Milena Smit wore it during the Malaga Film Festival.

I prefer how Alizée kept the look tonal with all red accessories including the Saint Laurent leather and PVC slingbacks but the fit was better on Milena.

Karolina Kurkova was shining wearing a déjà vu gold sequin Michael Kors Collection Fall 2022 dress.

Isabeli Fontana’s Giambattista Valli Spring 2022 look might feel familiar as Jenny Slate wore the bralette to the premiere of ‘Marcel The Shell With Shoes On’ back in June.

I prefer this full look for Isabeli, as the model’s red carpet style doesn’t usually present floral pieces.

This is the point in where I would normally say, “I was disappointed in her footwear,” but the chain detail ties into the gold accents on her look so I’ll give them a pass.

Thankfully Neelam Gill didn’t let this event pass without a Roberto Cavalli moment.

Even though I am missing the belt we see in the look book, Sara Sampaio looks beautiful wearing this Zuhair Murad Resort 2023 lace insert gown.

Of all the Zuhair Murad dresses on this red carpet, Izabel Goulart was my least favourite as it feels a little dated.

I think it’s easy to conclude – from the shoes alone – that Ashley Park is wearing Valentino.

Is it me or do these Valentino Garavani Discobox pumps look quite frightening in white?

Newlywed Frida Aasen doesn’t appear to be over having a sparkling white dress hangover by wearing this Azzaro Fall 2019 Couture gown styled with Rene Caovilla sandals.
