Adios Schitt’s Creek, sayonara The Notebook. If you’ve got a free weekend coming up, these are the Netflix titles to binge, because next month, they’re disappearing from the platform. Thankfully we have all month to re-watch 8 Mile and Bridget Jones’s Diary, plus they’re adding a ton of great titles.

If you’re a casual viewer, scroll on, but if you’re an industry nerd like myself, it might interest you to know that for the first time ever, one of these “leaving Netflix” lists includes a Netflix original: Hemlock Grove, the fantasy drama that ran for three seasons right when the platform started buying and premiering its own content. Will the studio that originally made it bring it someplace else, or should you start looking on eBay for a DVD now? Hard to say. It’s also unclear if Netflix is trying to get out of some sort of residuals contract, or if other series will follow. But it’s an interesting decision coming hot on the heels of HBO Max pulling a similar move; read more here.
