Julia Roberts made a return to the red carpet for the ‘Ticket To Paradise’ world premiere held at Odeon Luxe Leicester Square on Wednesday (September 7) in London.

The actress wore a custom Chantilly lace dress inspired by the Alexander McQueen Pre-Fall 2022 collection, which featured crystal graffiti motifs.

Judging by my comments on Sandra Bullock’s Elie Saab Haute Couture look worn to ‘The Lost City’ LA premiere and Laura Dern’s Armani Privé look for ‘The Son’ Venice Film Festival premiere, you might think I totally object to cropped jackets with gowns.

This isn’t the case, as the jacket is never the issue, it has always been the dress worn under it.

For me, Julia’s cropped Alexander McQueen jacket helps elevate the look while marrying modern tailoring with McQueen’s refreshing creativity.

If I was to nitpick, I would wish that the sleeves were longer, but I don’t want to project my personal issues of sleeve lengths never being long enough on my freakishly long arms onto this look.
