Freida Pinto joined Sharon Stone and Priyanka Chopra on the red carpet for the opening night gala screening of ‘What’s Love Got To Do With It?’ which was held during the Red Sea International Film Festival on Thursday (December 1) in Jeddah, Saudi.
Yellow has always been the Indian actress’ go-to hue, so she was always on to a winner in this Elie Saab taffeta gown from the Pre-Fall 2022 collection.
Kudos to her stylist for ensuring that the dress didn’t look like a crumbled mess, as we know how much taffeta usually hates the red carpets.
They also made sure that the ruffled shoulders didn’t fall flat.
There is a lot to contend with when it comes to successfully delivering this gown.
I’m sure many will question the detail on the shoulders, but for me this works.
They aren’t overwhelming due to being a mid-height in proportion to the top of her head.
Opting to keep her hair swept back was also the key to success.
