Kerry Washington made a guest appearance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’ where she talked about wearing Whitney Houston’s dress to the American Black Film Festival Honors, working on her memoir, ‘Thicker than Water,’ and her role in the show ‘UnPrisoned.’
If you’re having a case of déjà vu, that’s because Ayo Edebiri wore this Emilia Wickstead Fall 2022 painterly effect checkerboard motif to the 2023 SAG Awards, and Rachel Zegler wore the print while promoting ‘Spellbound.’
But neither blew me away quite like Kerry did.
Her dress is both classic and contemporary in its design, but ultimately, it’s the way Kerry is selling the look, along with the gloves which made this such a fun outing.
