Brie Larson attended the Ninth Breakthrough Prize Ceremony held at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures on Saturday (April 15) in Los Angeles, California.
Last month it was yellow. But this month royal blue appears to be the next trending colour.
Brie looked beautiful making her return to the red carpet wearing a Jason Wu Collection draped ruched midi-dress.
Jason Wu is an advocate of confident dressing, and this dress is a testament to that.
Defined by three-dimensional detailing at the skirt, the art of draping is what creates the contemporary version.
The only thing missing from this look was grooming to flatten the neckline and the central part of the skirt.
Barely-there sandals completed her look.
