Brie Larson attended the ‘Elemental’ premiere which served as the closing ceremony of the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on Saturday in France.
Cannes can be exhausting working all day and all night, but I really enjoyed covering it this year as it had a feeling of “back to its best” about it.
However, this year will always be remembered as the year when Brie Larson gave us nothing.
Nothing but Chanel, and nothing memorable – unless you count her opening ceremony look which many of you added to her least favourite look of the year lists.
The only good thing about Cannes being over, is getting my evenings back, and Brie (hopefully) returning to her pre-Cannes form, because she has a promo tour in ‘The Marvels’ coming this Fall, so I’m praying that this “experiment” is out of her system, as it has been clear to everyone that she is not really the right fit for Chanel.
In saying that, this Chanel Spring 2023 Haute Couture floral motif dress was easily…by a long shot…her best look of the festival.
Had Brie started in this, perhaps she could’ve built from here. But. It wasn’t to be.
