Sofia Carson accepted the Golden Popcorn for Best Musical Moment for the song ‘Come Back Home’ from the movie ‘Purple Hearts’ at the 2023 MTV Movie & TV Awards, which unlike last year’s event, was virtual this time around.
The actress is known for her love for gowns and all things Giambattista Valli, but on this occasion, she wore an Alexander McQueen draped, asymmetrical mini dress featuring a puffy off-the-shoulder sleeves and a dramatic red-and-black print of an eyeball from the Spring 2023 collection.
I love this change of direction, which is totally out of left field for Sofia, but it was the right choice for this ceremony, as we love when celebrities turn things up for music ceremonies.
You may remember this McQueen dress was one of eight looks which Gigi Hadid wore while promoting her TV series, ‘Next In Fashion.’
While we can see the whole of Sofia’s black ankle strap shoes, I would put money on her wearing those Valentino platforms.
