Kendall Jenner is very much a skinny jeans and white tank top kinda girl, but much like her sister Kylie Jenner, Kendall’s style did a u-turn once she arrived in Paris following her appearance on the runway for the Jacquemus Fall 2023 collection.
Bottega Veneta is an Italian label, but the French girl aesthetic was strong with both of the models looks worn on Monday (June 26) from the Pre-Fall 2023 collection.
You should be familiar with the first Bottega Veneta keyhole midi dress, because it was first worn by Yara Shahidi back in April, when she attended the ‘Peter Pan & Wendy’ New York screening.
Yara styled her look with mirrored boots, whereas Kendall opted for a pair of loafers from The Row, Gucci shades and a Bottega Veneta Falcon clutch.
I have to say I love this new minimalist off-duty look, which is both effortless and classic.
Continuing her demure streak for dinner the same day with fellow model Gigi Hadid, Kendall had a Marilyn Monroe moment stepping out in a yellow Bottega Veneta sequin halter neck dress styled with a matching Bottega Veneta hobo knot shoulder bag and Bottega Veneta strappy sandals.
Both looks have me wondering if this style shift is exclusive to the Jenners in Paris, or a new style chapter.
If you’re anything like me, you enjoy trying new styles and dressing like the locals when you travel to different countries.
So perhaps that is just what this is.
I’m intrigued to say the least.
