Adele attended The Hollywood Reporter’s Women In Entertainment 2023 event held at The Beverly Hills Hotel on Thursday (December 7) in Los Angeles, California, where she received the prestigious Sherry Lansing Leadership Award.
It feels like quite some time since we last saw the singer on the red carpet (the 2023 Grammy Awards to be exact), as she was busy with her Las Vegas residency, Weekends With Adele, so I was glad to see the British singer not wearing a black gown.
However, I’m not entirely sold on her Schiaparelli Spring 2024 navy striped suit accented with the label’s signature Measuring Tape embroidery.
Judging by the runway, the desired fit is supposed to be oversized, but for me, the trousers are too long.
Hemming the trousers by an inch or two would have improved the look.
However, I’m not totally thrown off liking this look for Adele, as I have been longing to see her in something different, and I love how she got into the spirit of the look with the Schiaparelli jewels.
