A friend of mine said that the Valentino Spring 2024 Haute Couture collection made her cry, but it felt a bit like a redux of the Fall 2022 Haute Couture collection to me. However, there were a few pieces which stood out.
I have been dying for Daniel Kaluuya to shake up his style, so this entire first look would be my selection for the British actor.
It will probably go to Colman Domingo, and I would have no problem with that.
While grey isn’t my favourite colour, I think this dress is beautifully designed, and with the right wearer – Jennifer Lawrence (never going to happen but this is wish list) Katherine Waterston, Lily Aldridge, Hailey Bieber, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley – this would be amazing.
‘Ted Lasso’ star Phil Dunster instantly sprang to mind when I saw this third look, but Tom Blythe would probably be better shout.
This next look was admittedly giving me Ralph Lauren vibes, so Uma Thurman and JLo sprang to mind.
I would fall off my chair if Vanessa Kirby wore this fifth look in its entirety.
Jennie Kim from Blackpink loves a girlie girl moment, so I can see her in this fuchsia strapless gown.
