Fantasia Barrino was one of the first to arrive on the red carpet for the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday.
The problem I am having with Fantasia’s awards season run, is that I have her promo tour for ‘The Color Purple’ to compare it to, which was flawless. Only Margot Robbie had a better promo tour last year.
In principle I do like this Cong Tri Fall 2023 crystallised cut-out gown, as it has a sultry elegance and a diva-like quality to it which is perfect for the Grammys, but I don’t like the styling.
Most notably the matching gloves and the lip jewelry (a trend started by Teyana Taylor), both of which I found to be a bit cheesy with this look.
The hair and makeup are beautiful as always.
