As the saying goes, “with great power comes great responsibility,” and I’m applying that to anyone who goes into the Givenchy archives from now on.
Rebecca Ferguson selected this white silk crepe embroidered jacket, worn with matching corset belt, and white tulle dress embellished with lace appliqués from the Givenchy Fall 2010 Haute Couture collection.
This is one of my favourites Haute Couture collections from Riccardo Tisci.
I have so many great memories from the red carpet to Beyonce’s ‘Run The World’ music video.
I want to say that both Emma Stone and Rebecca Ferguson haven’t selected well from the archives, but the styling is my biggest issue with this look, because it feels like Rebecca deconstructed the look to make it her own, and the outlook was just too sloppy for me.
Especially with those boots.
Rebecca’s photocall look was much better.
The dual colour platforms worked better with the playful charms of this Thom Browne coat imbued an intriguing check print from patches of sequins set in different directions.
