It looks like Sophie Wilde and Emma Corrin were on the same page when it came to ‘60s inspired looks for the Cartier’s celebration of one hundred years of the Trinity Icon held at the Petit Palais in Paris on Wednesday.
Some might say that this white Courrèges Spring 2024 keyhole dress is infused with the Space Age aesthetic mostly associated with the label.
But I think this sits closer to the ’60s 2.0 revival we are seeing from celebrities that embraces the past with a modern twist.
This was elevated by Sophie’s styling with those white go-go inspired boots, and by opting not to style the dress with flares we saw on the runway.
I can see many ‘60s fashion icons, especially Twiggy rocking this look back in the day.
For me, Sophie continues to be that girl on the rise. I think we will see a lot more of her in 2024.
