Juliette Binoche presented Meryl Streep with the honorary Palme d’Or during the 2024 Cannes Film Festival opening ceremony this evening, which also hosted the premiere of Léa Seydoux’s new film, ‘Le Deuxième Acte’ (‘The Second Act’).
The French actress wore a custom Dior Haute Couture off-the-shoulder red gown which is a beautiful design.
Some might not be so enamoured because at first glance as the gown appears too big for her.
I would say that the sleeves were a tad too long, but what we are actually seeing is the drapery of fabric that doesn’t naturally drape, so it looks like it is bunching around the hips, but this is purposeful.
The only issue I really have is the wet-look hair.
