Disney and Balmain hosted a celebratory evening at London’s Royal Albert Hall, as part of the global launch of the Disney x Balmain: The Lion King collection and the 30th anniversary of Walt Disney Animation Studios’ classic ‘The Lion King’.
Inside the legendary auditorium at the Royal Albert Hall, attendees were treated to an evening filled with art, music and fashion. Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing introduced the Femi Oladigbolu film, shot in South Africa, which highlights the new collection. The film was followed by a show-stopping performance from Leigh-Anne, who performed ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight’ live, to a nearly sold out show.
Olivier Rousteing and Leigh-Anne were joined by Sheila Atim, Jourdan Dunn, Leomie Anderson, Gabriella Gomes and AJ Odudu who were all decked out in looks from Balmain.
You won’t be surprised to learn that the colourful Balmain looks from Gabriella Gomes caught my eye along with AJ Odudu’s blue and red suede fringe number.
