As far as fashion labels go, Oscar de la Renta was a smart choice for Isabela Ferrer to partner with while promoting her film, ‘It Ends With Us,’ in which she plays a young Lily Bloom. Some might say that she played it safe with this choice, but considering this was her first major press tour, and the film’s romantic theme, it worked perfectly.
Last week, Isabela was spotted wearing an Oscar de la Renta blue dress embroidered and appliquéd with soaring birds and blossoming flowers. This dress offered a modern take on a timeless silhouette, beautifully balancing classic elegance with contemporary flair. The intricate detailing added a touch of whimsy and sophistication.
One of my favourite looks was this Oscar de la Renta Lily of the Valley cotton poplin maxi dress from the Spring 2024 collection, imbued with the enthusiasm of summer, which she paired with jeans. The jeans not only injected a youthful and modern flare into the look, but also demonstrated her ability to step outside the lookbook styling.
For the New York premiere, the actress looked stunning in a chiffon floral Oscar de la Renta gown. The flowing fabric and delicate floral patterns perfectly captured the romantic essence of the film. On the red carpet, Isabela revealed that Blake Lively styled her, which is easy to believe considering the inclusion of bangles and statement earrings, trademarks of Blake’s own style, even though she didn’t wear them herself on the night.
At the after-party, Isabela’s mood shifted to a more playful vibe with an Oscar de la Renta peony dress. This look instantly reminded me of a similar dress Ariana Grande wore during Cinema-Con earlier this year. I love how the playful silhouette encapsulated the joyous atmosphere of the evening.
I am sure you will agree that Isabela’s choice to partner with Oscar de la Renta for her press tour was a brilliant move as each look showcased the brand’s signature feminine elegance, allowing her to express her personality and style, while staying on theme in an understated fashion.
