A few days ago, Kendall Jenner was photographed at Paris Fashion Week wearing an interesting look that’s very easy to replicate. As shared by her stylist, Dani Michelle, on Instagram, the supermodel opted for a long-sleeved black dress by The Row, combined with a pair of opaque red tights by Calzedonia. (See the photo here.)
Jenner is one step ahead of the game with her choice in tights, wearing a color that we have seen across the spring-summer 2025 collections that debuted last month. It’s actually one of the simplest (and most affordable) bets to make on the trends of the coming season. On the runways, brands like Ester Manas and Tibi paired more opaque, vibrant stockings with dresses in your typical spring pastels, creating a high contrast with butter yellow and lavender.
We’ve seen more red legs at Versace, where Gigi Hadid hit the runway in an asymmetrical and printed dress paired with more transparent stockings in a darker tone. GDCS did the same with an all-black ensemble, while Alessandro Michele included several red lace tights in his runway debut for Valentino as a transitional element between footwear and his baroque dresses.
The moral of the story? Stock up now on your red and maroon tights. Kendall Jenner said so.
