Sarah Paulson at SiriusXM Studios

We’ve all been waiting eagerly for a press run from Sarah Paulson, and this week, she delivered in New York City while promoting her new film, ‘Hold Your Breath’. With her diverse and eye-catching style choices, Sarah made a memorable impression with not one, but three fabulous looks that had us talking. Each outfit revealed a different facet of her style, from sophisticated elegance to edgy drama.

Sarah kicked off her press tour at SiriusXM Studios, wearing a white crepe sablé carved blazer and matching “dance skirt” from the Michael Kors Spring 2025 Collection. The name of the skirt couldn’t be more appropriate, as it swayed with every movement, giving an air of effortless grace. While some might argue that silver metallic pumps would have been a better choice, drawing from the silver details on her belt buckle, I was so captivated by the white ensemble that the shoes barely registered as a distraction. Surprisingly, the black pumps worked well enough without being jarring, allowing the focus to remain on that beautifully tailored suit.

Watch What Happens Live

Next up was Sarah’s appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live’ with Bravo’s Andy Cohen. As a Bravo superfan, Sarah’s attendance was a perfect fit, and so was her blue sequin dress from Nicklas Skovgaard’s Fall 2024 collection. This dress had an undeniable glamour reminiscent of the sequined looks favoured by Bravo’s famous housewives, but with an elevated twist. Thankfully, the version Sarah wore was modified from the lookbook—removing the woven belt detail that initially ran between the dress’s opening. Vogue Scandinavia has described Nicklas Skovgaard’s style as “baroque’n’roll,” and this dress fully embraced that vibe.

While I was thrilled with the adjustments to the dress, I kinda wish that Sarah opted to wear the striking shoes from the lookbook. Though I understand the choice to keep the spotlight on the dress, the original shoes would have elevated the look even further, adding an extra touch of drama which would have worked in this setting.

Good Morning America

Just as I was about to hit publish on this article, I refreshed Getty and the photos of her arriving at ABC studios for ‘Good Morning America’ popped up. The sight of her wearing a feather-fringed red and sage peplum top and wrap skirt from Bottega Veneta’s Spring 2024 collection left me nearly speechless. This was the moment I had been hoping for—bold, daring, and instantly iconic. Sarah Paulson and Bottega Veneta have shared fringe moments in the past, and this look will sit with that one as a worthy addition into her fashion hall of fame, despite her choice of black wedge shoes not quite capturing the magic of the rest of the ensemble.

While each look showcased Sarah’s chameleon-like ability to adapt her style, the Bottega Veneta ensemble truly captured the spirit of what I hoped to see from her on this press tour. It’s safe to say that with these three looks, Sarah has proven, yet again, why we love her style so much.

With New York known for its multi-look press junkets, we can be sure that there’s more to come from Sarah later today, and possibly tomorrow—and I, for one, am eagerly anticipating each new look.
