After a few underwhelming red-carpet moments, Chloe Sevigny reminded us why she earned her title as the indie style queen at the 2024 LACMA Art+Film Gala.
Dressed in one of the standout looks from Saint Laurent’s Spring 2025 collection, she brought that unmistakable magic and edge we’ve been waiting to see.
Her outfit—a brocade jacket over a lace ruffled collar shirt paired with a layered velvet and lace skirt—felt like a love letter to her eclectic style. The look’s textured layers and vintage-inspired vibe instantly felt in tune with her fashion persona. It’s hard to imagine a look more suited to Chloe, with its mix of romantic and edgy elements. If I hadn’t just seen this on the runway last month, I would have assumed she curated it herself; it’s that authentic to her style DNA.
The details sealed the deal. She completed the look with black pumps featuring gold tips and green gemstone accents, adding a subtle nod to the ‘90s.
Seeing her in this Saint Laurent ensemble feels like a fresh chapter in her red-carpet evolution. It’s powerful, blending her past style with a renewed confidence. I hope she can keep this energy going forward.
