Amy Adams attended the ‘Nightbitch’ screening and Q&A on Tuesday at Quad Cinema in New York City as part of the Moms’ Night Out Campaign Launch.
Dressed in a Dior grey striped wool and silk jacket and skirt, one thing you can always say about Amy is that she’s consistent.
Whether this translates to consistency in sticking to dark tones, formal evening wear, or simply playing it safe, Amy remains firmly rooted in her comfort zone. Personally, I appreciate the cut and the silhouette, as they exude elegance and precision. However, even for a screening, this ensemble feels overly formal, giving off headmistress or corporate CEO vibes.
While Amy’s choices never fail to showcase her impeccable taste, it’s hard not to wish she’d step out of this sartorial rhythm and surprise us with something less predictable. For now, it seems she’s content embracing a polished uniform that, while sophisticated, feels slightly out of place in this setting.
