While her anecdotes were endearing, her outfit made an equally compelling statement.
The actress wore a Valentino look from Alessandro Michele’s Spring 2025 collection, continuing her streak of edgier than expected choices on this press tour.
Honestly, I would not have selected this look for Keira. It’s not what I would typically associate with style, but that’s likely my own bias at play. She is promoting a thriller, not a rom-com, so perhaps these choices appear to be reflecting the tone of ‘Black Doves.’
The neckline, in particular, feels like it might be a dealbreaker for some. Was it inspired by old vinyl records or perhaps a Maasai tribal aesthetic? I’d lean toward the latter, as it adds cultural depth and a striking point of difference to anything we saw on her last press tour.
Either way, it’s an unexpected twist that makes this ensemble stand out, and I have to say I love everything about it.
The shoes—black with gold accents—were styled exactly as they appeared on the runway, grounded the look with a cohesive finish.
Keira’s recent fashion choices have forced me to rethink my perception of her style.
This Valentino look may not be her most universally loved, but it shows a willingness to take risks, which I’m beginning to appreciate more and more. It’s exciting to see her step into new sartorial territories.
