Michelle Obama made a guest appearance on ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’ today, where the two women shared a heartwarming conversation about life, family, and their ongoing journeys.
During the chat, Mrs. Obama gave a sweet update on former President Barack Obama and talked about how Sasha and Malia have blossomed into independent women—and even roommates. While the anecdotes charmed the audience, her primary purpose was to promote her latest book, ‘Overcoming: A Workbook.’
But let’s get into the outfit. The former first lady stepped onto the set wearing a Bottega Veneta green twill blazer layered over a leather top and skirt from the Pre-Fall 2024 collection. Unexpected? Absolutely.
This is far from the twin sets and pearls she favoured during her time in the White House. The look already had plenty of edge, but the addition of leather over-the-knee boots took it to the next level. My jaw dropped. The boots gave the ensemble a bold, unexpected twist, injecting an attitude that felt fresh and fun.
I love seeing this side of her style. It has a bit more personality, while still feeling entirely appropriate and polished.
Bottega Veneta Drop earrings completed her look.
Who would’ve thought we’d see Michelle Obama on daytime TV, rocking leather over-the-knee boots while talking about empowerment? Now that’s a moment to celebrate.
