Gwendoline Christie was spotted making the streets of New York her personal runway while promoting the second season of Severance. Between appearances on CBS Mornings, Live Kelly and Mark, The Kelly Clarkson Show and Watch What Happens Live, the British actress served a masterclass in minimal effort, maximum impact.

Unlike our beloved Keke Palmer—who gave us top top-to-toe mid-day outfit changes—Gwendoline stuck to just swapping coats. In the morning, she donned a sleek black coat, exuding effortless sophistication. By evening, she traded it for a camel coat, adding a cosy, warm glow to her look.
While the coat may have changed, her Prada accessories stole the show. Let’s talk about that Galleria bag, shall we? Adorned with exquisitely crafted flowers, it felt like springtime was blooming in the middle of January. Her sculptural yellow pumps, straight off Prada’s Spring 2025 runway, added another quirky pop of colour.
And then, the pièce de résistance: those Prada bug-eyed sunglasses. These futuristic frames injected a bold, almost sci-fi edge to her otherwise vintage-inspired ensemble. Picture The Jetsons meets The Crown—and it works.

Now, let’s not ignore what’s underneath. Gwendoline wore a black-and-beige utilitarian dress with gold accents, also from Prada’s Spring 2025 collection. The sleek lines and practical design felt like a direct contrast to her playful accessories, creating a mix that only someone as statuesque and stylish as Gwendoline could pull off.

Gwendoline proved you don’t need five wardrobe changes to make an impression. All it takes is a great dress, a great coat—or two—and some fanciful Prada accessories.
