Last week, Mikey Madison graced The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to discuss her SAG Award nomination, an unexpectedly heroic moment involving a drunken boat captain on the Hudson River, and her dedication to learning Russian for her role in the film Anora.
True to her signature dark glamour aesthetic—a style perfectly suited to her porcelain complexion and raven hair—Mikey wore a burgundy (her go-to colour for late night talk shows) Ferragamo dress that effortlessly balanced sophistication and allure. The deep V-neckline added a sultry edge, while the knotted waist created a beautiful drape that highlighted the fluidity of the jersey fabric.
This look felt quintessentially Mikey: understated. However, if anyone thought her penchant for dark glamour meant she wasn’t willing to take risks, her choice of footwear said otherwise. Enter: marabou mules. These playful shoes were an unexpected twist, injecting a hint of whimsy into an otherwise moody ensemble.
What I love most about this outfit is its quiet confidence. The rich burgundy hue, combined with the textural contrast of the marabou, gave the look a modern feel.
