Vivienne Westwood delivered a trio of standout looks at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, showcasing the brand’s signature artistry and edge.
Asymmetrical Elegance
When it comes to Vivienne Westwood, corsetry is often the go-to, so Alexandra Daddario’s choice of a black sequin dress with contrasting asymmetrical feather detailing was a refreshing surprise. The feathers injected an avant-garde twist into what could have been a predictable red carpet moment.

Ombre Sensuality
Rachel Brosnahan, however, leaned fully into Vivienne Westwood’s iconic corsetry with a dress that epitomised the label’s timeless allure. The ombre green hues, the exquisite drapery, and the diamond David Yurman necklace featuring a striking emerald stone elevated this to one of my favourite looks of the night. Her new copper hair colour further amplified the overall impact, securing her a spot in my top 15 of the evening, potentially even a spot in my top 10. Metallic Jimmy Choo pumps completed her look.

Aquaman
Andrew Scott continued his streak of refreshing menswear choices, stepping outside the typical black tux in an aqua blue Vivienne Westwood suit. Reminiscent of his daring yellow Etro suit at last year’s Film Independent Spirit Awards, this look had the same sartorial confidence. However, that wasn’t the inspiration. Andrew’s stylist, Warren Alfie Baker shared the following on Instagram, “We loved the iconic look worn by David Bowie for the “Life on Mars” video designed by Freddie Burretti and we loved the idea of paying homage to that.” While he opted for classic black shoes this time, nothing could dull my enthusiasm for this look. The Lagos pearl bracelet was the perfect finishing touch.
