Keke Palmer Wore Vintage Chanel To The 2025 SAG Awards

Keke Palmer is my girl, but even I wasn’t prepared for just how jaw-droppingly stunning she looked at the 2025 SAG Awards.

We all know Keke is an archive queen. She doesn’t just wear vintage for the sake of a moment—she genuinely respects and appreciates fashion history. And with her new stylist, Molly Dickson, at the helm, this love for archival fashion is thriving in the best way.

For this occasion, Keke reached deep into Chanel’s archives, emerging in a velvet strapless gown from the Fall 1985 collection. The floral-embellished neckline alone is enough to send me into a fashion-induced frenzy. To say she looked beautiful doesn’t even begin to cover it—this was perfection.

Opera gloves are very much the accessory of the moment, but often they feel like an afterthought. Not here. They complete the story Keke is telling, bringing even more elegance to an already exquisite look.

Now, I know some of you are still adjusting to her copper hair, but personally, I love it. The shorter style added an extra layer of refinement.

And for those feeling a fashion déjà vu, you’re not imagining things—Jamie Lee Curtis first wore this dress in 1986 at the inaugural American Cinematheque Award Salute to Eddie Murphy. Nearly 40 years later, Keke just made it her own.
