If you’re not going the traditional tux route, then make a statement—and that’s exactly what Colman Domingo did at the 2025 BAFTAs this evening, where he’s nominated for Best Actor for Sing Sing.
After his last red carpet left us underwhelmed, he roared back with a Versace black suit that was serving up plenty of flare. Between the leather coat and the silk shirt adorned with the brand’s iconic prints, he set his own BAFTA style standard.
With those two major statement pieces, he really didn’t need to do much more—but this is Colman Domingo we’re talking about. The Jean Schlumberger by Tiffany Bird on a Rock brooch, a T T1 pendant, and Tiffany Victoria® earrings brought that signature Colman flair we’ve come to expect. And then came the leather studded driving gloves—because why not?
This is what happens when maximalism is done right: bold, fearless, and still effortlessly polished.
So, is this his best look of the season? Honestly, it just it’s hard to rank his best one so far, because when he is good, he is very very good.
