If there’s one thing Dolce & Gabbana does best, it’s delivering high-impact glamour. And the Vanity Fair Oscar Party proved just that, with a lineup of stars draped in the brand’s signature opulence: tailoring, lace, feathers, and sequins.
Redemption
Monica Barbaro immediately redeemed herself from the Dior gown she wore at the main event with this custom Dolce & Gabbana strapless gown embroidered with Swarovski crystals. Honestly, I strongly feel this should have been her main event dress. But I guess, considering this is the silhouette she favoured during the A Complete Unknown press tour, she wanted to do something different.

Micro-beaded glamour. A masterclass in red carpet dominance
Colman Domingo has been consistently consistent—much like previous awards seasons, and honestly, any time he steps onto a red carpet. He closed this season in a custom Dolce & Gabbana jacket matched to gloves, which instantly steal the spotlight. Not just for the micro-beaded details, but the silhouette of the jacket is breathtaking. The tonal look was beautifully contrasted by the wool trousers and silk shirt.

Rockstar: Tuxedo Edition
Damiano David, who usually brings an edgy flair to his looks, suited up in a Dolce & Gabbana Sicilia-fit tuxedo. But fear not—his Bvlgari High Jewelry Serpenti necklace and rings injected just the right amount of rock ‘n’ roll glamour.

Sharp tailoring can make even black shoes with a white tuxedo work
Noah Schnapp wore a white Dolce & Gabbana double-breasted Sicilia-fit tuxedo from the Fall 2024 runway collection, and the black shoes aren’t offending me here. I think the sharp tailoring is distracting me.

Serena returns to form
I had started to worry about Serena Williams‘ style, but she was back to her glamorous best in this Dolce & Gabbana strapless embellished gown.

One brooch? Child’s play. Two brooches? That’s how you make a statement
Lamorne Morris saw that everyone was wearing one brooch on the red carpet and opted to raise them one more by wearing two Toni + Chloë Goutal brooches with this Dolce & Gabbana Sicilia-fit tuxedo. Rings by EFFY Jewelry, Walters Faith, and Suzanne Kalan completed his look.

Effortless Elegance
Jessica Alba was serving simple, sensual elegance in this custom Dolce & Gabbana black lace draped strapless gown, complete with a thigh-high slit that added just the right amount of drama. The look was understated yet undeniably powerful.

A Rare Long Sleeved Moment
Alton Mason, who has been devoted to the sleeveless Dolce & Gabbana aesthetic for a while now—not that I was complaining—switched things up with a more “traditional” tuxedo. It was a rare but welcomed moment of classic tailoring from the model, proving that he can serve just as much presence with sleeves.

Feathered Flair
Vanessa Hudgens embraced all things extravagant in this off-the-shoulder Dolce & Gabbana gown, elevated with dramatic feather details from the Fall 2024 collection. If anyone knows how to work a little extra embellishment, it’s Vanessa.

Dark Romance
Kaitlyn Dever was a vision in black tulle, with a fringed Dolce & Gabbana dress adorned in sequins and beaded fringe from the Spring 2025 collection. The deep red lip amped up the gothic glamour, making this a standout moment.
