Dazed Editor-in-Chief IB Kamara to Step Down

Dazed editor-in-chief IB Kamara will step down from his role after four years at the helm, with his final issue set for publication in June, Dazed Media announced in a statement on Tuesday.

Since his appointment in 2021, Kamara has shaped Dazed’s visual identity, spotlighting emerging creatives and bringing a global perspective to the magazine.

Kamara leveraged his relationships as an influential stylist and creative director to secure the participation of artists like Rihanna, Harry Styles, and Rosalía in the magazine. The title also expanded its coverage of social movements and underrepresented communities.

Kamara, who was named art and image director of Off-White in 2022, leaves as Dazed nears its 30th anniversary. His successor has yet to be announced.
