Colman Domingo Marni Floral applique suit Fashion Trust U.S. Awards

If there’s a fashionable event on the calendar, chances are Colman Domingo is going to show up and show out. The ‘Sing Sing’ star graced the Fashion Trust U.S. Awards red carpet looking as sharp as ever in a custom mint green Marni suit that proved—once again—why he’s the best dressed man in Hollywood.

Designed by Marni’s creative director Francesco Risso, the suit was embroidered with oversized rose prints, each delicately hand-stitched and shimmering with crystals. It’s the kind of look that fully embraces the spirit of spring, but done in a way that feels completely original. We’ve seen this floral story play out in Marni’s Spring 2025 collection on gowns, but Colman’s tailored version brings it into bold, masculine elegance territory—and he wears it with the kind of confidence and ease that makes it sing (no pun intended).

There’s an unapologetic theatricality to this look, yet it never tips over into costume. The silhouette is clean, the styling is crisp, and the overall mood is nothing short of fabulous.

The Messika necklace and earrings were the perfect finishing touch.

This is exactly why Colman continues to be a red carpet highlight: he brings polish, personality, and playfulness to everything he wears—and makes it look effortless.
