Kristen Stewart returned to the red carpet on Monday for a special screening of Sacramento, and honestly? It was like greeting an old friend who hasn’t changed, but has a new story to tell.
Let’s start with what’s new. Her hair—longer, blonder, and yes, flaunting a full set of roots. But let’s not pretend this was a cry for bleach. This was a deliberate, lived-in, punky choice. Kristen’s never been one to chase polish, and her commitment to the undone is part of her charm. It’s very “cool girl rolled out of bed, threw on designer labels.” And frankly, I buy it. I always will.
As for what’s stayed the same? The bra moment. It’s basically KStew’s red carpet signature. This time she went for a black faux leather bra by Fleur Du Mal, layered under red, white and blue Thom Browne suspenders. On anyone else the braces would be the centrepiece, but Kristen’s energy always pulls focus. And those roots?
She’s also ditched the stilettos. After years of compromising with her stylist, she hit the carpet in a pair of comfy platform boots—a small victory that makes the look even more her.
