Lana Del Rey’s performance at the 2025 Stagecoach Festival this past weekend was a mesmerizing fusion of her signature melancholic style, unexpected classic covers, and a bold embrace of country influences. She surprised the crowd with heartfelt renditions of Tammy Wynette’s Stand by Your Man and John Denver’s Take Me Home, Country Roads, while original tracks like original tracks Bluebird, Husband of Mine, and Quiet in the South, all drenched in Southern storytelling and heartbreak.
Of course, a new sound from Lana wouldn’t feel right without a sartorial shift to match.
She didn’t borrow from Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter leather chaps playbook. Instead, she leaned into Southern charm in a custom Valentino ivory lace dress, complete with scalloped edges and an oversized satin bow, courtesy of Alessandro Michele. The look had a vintage, almost heirloom quality—more prairie romance than rhinestone rodeo.
She styled it with white lace tights and tan ankle-strap pumps, tying the whole ensemble together. It’s a softer, sweeter take on country stagewear, and frankly, it’s the most Lana Del Rey way to do country chic without going anywhere near a ten-gallon hat.
