Tracee Ellis Ross did what Tracee Ellis Ross does best—serve statement-making style with a healthy dose of personality—while promoting Black Mirror Season 7 in New York City. With co-star Emma Corrin holding down the fort in London, Tracee blessed us with four looks in NYC, and if you’re playing “spot the common thread,” it’s all about those Bottega Veneta accessories. The Canalazzo pumps and Arco tote made repeat appearances.
Late Night with Seth Meyers
After her Good Morning America appearance, Tracee took a sleek turn in a black Brandon Maxwell Fall 2025 leather ensemble. The top and skirt had this architectural, asymmetrical energy that added intrigue, and the chunky glasses gave the look that boss-in-the-boardroom flair. But those brown Bottega Veneta Canalazzo pumps? I found myself wishing she had chosen black. Rare for me to say that, but with a fully black outfit and that slick Maxwell leather, black shoes would’ve just brought it all home with a sharper finish.

Black Mirror Screening
Next up: a mustard Acne Studios corduroy blazer layered over a navy-striped shirt and turtleneck, with oversized navy trousers. I see what she was going for—a play on texture and tone—but this look was a bit too swamped in volume for my liking. The pieces individually have potential, but together, it leaned bulky.

Live with Kelly & Mark
This is where things turned around in a major way. Tracee stepped out in a full Bottega Veneta look featuring an oversized shirt and those wonderfully weird pleated skirt-trousers. Yes, they come with a single pant leg, and no, I wouldn’t want it any other way. It’s the kind of playful detail that Tracee pulls off better than most. The styling with the Ellipse earrings, Arco tote, and those brown Canalazzo pumps (again) made it feel luxe and lived-in.

Out In New York City
And finally, a Bottega Veneta orange cocoon shirt with a crisp white pleated skirt. The proportions here were perfect. Oversized, yes, but not engulfing. The structured shirt played beautifully against the movement of the skirt. Tracee thrives in bold silhouettes that embrace volume without losing her shape, and this look was a masterclass. Same Bottega accessories, same effortless energy.
Across the board, Tracee reminded us that sticking to a signature doesn’t mean being repetitive—it means being recognisable, polished, and oh-so-chic, and three out of four ain’t bad.
