Naomie Harris Stuns in Roksanda at Cannes Vanity Fair Lunch

Naomie Harris really said, “New location, new energy,” and I couldn’t be more grateful. After a somewhat confusing Black Bag press tour earlier this year — where the looks were mostly stuck in the “not quite” zone — I was ready for a reset.

And today, at the Vanity Fair Lunch during the Cannes Film Festival, we got it.

Wearing the Roksanda Pascale cape-effect printed taffeta midi dress, Naomie reminded us of the style prowess that once had her in our list of red carpet favourites. The dopamine hit courtesy of that acid yellow hue, the painterly print, the structural drama of that shoulder panel sweeping round her back.

This was Naomie back in her elegant-yet-daring element. Sophisticated with a point of view. Strong, but never too loud. The gold sandals were the perfect punctuation mark to a fashion sentence I’ve been waiting months to read. I’m so glad to see this version of Naomie back on the red carpet.
