Fresh from giving us an epic archival Dior throwback at Cannes, Natalie Portman continued her Dior Haute Couture streak at the New York premiere of Fountain of Youth, joining co-star Eiza González at the American Museum of Natural History on Monday.
This time, Natalie opted for a short bustier dress in black silk velvet, elevated by black ruched mesh that added texture and just enough flair. I would say it’s dainty, others might say it teeters on the edge of twee, but let’s be honest—without the frilled accents, it wouldn’t have quite the same charm. It’s those details that stop this look from veering into forgettable territory.
Styled with simple black sandals and a trio of Tiffany & Co. touches—a T1 necklace, classic diamond studs, and Victoria® rings—Natalie kept things simple.
