Carrie Coon gave us an elusive look from the Loewe Fall 2025 collection in a strapless pink and mauve dress. The colour combination? Gorgeous. The architectural neckline? A bit on the rigid side. I wish the mauve draping had been allowed to move more freely rather than standing at attention—it’s a little stiffer than I would have liked it to be.

Rebecca Hall took a more subversive route in her Lanvin Fall 2025 Cassandre knit spider dress. The silhouette was sleek, the sheerness teasingly dark and romantic, and her Lanvin bow kitten heels were the perfect finishing touch. Slightly gothic, fully fabulous.

Christine Baranski looked like she’d walked out of an ‘80s high-fashion editorial in a structured, seafoam green Roberto Cavalli Fall 2025 dress. The shoulders were sharp, the mermaid hem dramatic—it was theatrical in the best way. Rodo white pumps completed her look.

Then there was Cynthia Nixon. I’m loving this new no-holds-barred fashion era for her. She’s dialled up the volume and attitude, this time in a taffeta coat from Richard Quinn’s Fall 2025 collection that practically demanded its own step-and-repeat. It’s bold, it’s excessive, and it’s completely working for her.
