If you thought Dakota Johnson might scale things back after that Ferragamo suit on The Tonight Show, think again. The outfit, which prompted her to jokingly ask for a blanket after realising just how revealing it was. Many of you called it a wardrobe malfunction waiting to happen. But rather than retreat into oversized tailoring, Dakota seems to be leaning into the moment.
For her next late night appearance on Seth Meyers, she doubled down in true Dakota fashion, opting for a Nensi Dojaka bodysuit and fluted skirt from the Spring 2025 collection, that was instantly recognisable for its sheer mesh revealing nature. While some might be sighing at the sight of another see-through look, I actually think she looks incredible—confident, cool, and completely in control.
That said, I do wish the underlayer had been black instead of brown.
The brown Gucci Jackie 1961 bag doesn’t make the case it however. The rest of her accessories—Oliver Peoples x Khaite 1951C sunglasses, gold earrings, and sleek black satin pumps—rounded things out with the kind of casual glamour she does so well.
Say what you will, but Dakota knows how to keep the conversation going.
