Eiza González joined Cate Blanchett on the red carpet for the Serpentine Summer Party in London on Tuesday, bringing a dose of sultry glamour to the city’s sweltering heatwave. And really, who’s going to argue with sheer when the temperatures are pushing 30°C?
Swapping out the wintery drama of her last look, Eiza embraced the current season in a black high-neck gown from Harris Reed’s Fall 2025 collection. At first glance, you might just focus on the sheerness, but the artistry comes through in the hand-painted gold leaf detailing that frames the gown like a wearable sculpture. It’s subtle but deeply effective—balancing allure with just the right amount of drama.
For those thinking it might have looked just as good with a lining, I disagree. Eiza wears this sheer version with complete confidence, and the effect is more impactful because of it. There’s something sculptural and statuesque about the way it, like she’s stepped straight out of a modern art exhibit.
David Yurman jewels added the final touch, complementing the golden accents on her gown.
