Miley Cyrus never does things by halves, and the premiere of her visual album Something Beautiful at the 2025 Tribeca Festival was no exception. Between the screening, the intimate conversation with her collaborators, and a quick change before hitting the CAA’s Starry Tony Weekend Bash, it was a packed night—and Miley gave us not one, but two major Schiaparelli moments.
Tribeca Festival Premiere
For the big premiere, she channelled full glam rock goddess energy in a Schiaparelli Spring 2025 Haute Couture woven dress embroidered with crystal water drops and a waterfall of fringe. As if the dress alone wasn’t dramatic enough, she doubled down with the matching fringe stole that was all about movement and mood. It looked heavy, and maybe it was, but that only added to the theatre of it all. That said, while the see-through nature of the dress will probably be the main talking point, my nitpick is the Schiaparelli bag, which didn’t really connect with the vibe. The dress screams, “I’m about to hit the stage,” while the bag says, “cocktails on Madison Avenue.” I’m confused.

Later that evening, she turned up with gravity-defying curls and an even better dress: a strapless Schiaparelli Fall 2025 number embroidered with beads, golden discs, and antique silver mirrors in a feather motif. This look deserved to be the main event. It has the grandeur, the sparkle, the texture, and the silhouette that shines from every angle. The bronze pumps and keylock clutch were fitting companions, and while it was a strong second outing, I can’t help but wish this had been her premiere look. Hopefully, it gets a red carpet reprise because it’s too good not to.
