Tear up your black gown predictions—Jenna Ortega just rewrote the dress code for her Wednesday Season 2 press tour. While season one firmly established her as the queen of gothic glamour, and her photocall look gave us a black look, the London premiere gave us a complete curveball. And what a welcome one it was.
Instead of her usual noir palette, Jenna wore a look that was unexpected yet completely in sync with her character’s gothic undertone. Courtesy of Ashi Studio’s Fall 2025 Couture collection, this beige semi-sheer ensemble featured a snakeskin-textured latex corset top paired with a mermaid-cut skirt was eerie, sensual, and brilliantly unsettling.

There’s something hypnotic about the second-skin effect, especially with those scorched edges and melted hems that hinted at something quietly sinister. The look didn’t scream for attention—it just stared you down with that slow, creeping intensity that Wednesday Addams would absolutely approve of.

The latex finish gave off the feeling of transformation, as if Jenna was peeling back the layers of her past red carpet choices to reveal something bolder, stranger, and more evolved. The haunting vibe was dialled up by her bleached brows, in contrast to her signature dark hair, and smoky, smouldering makeup that enhanced her already piercing stare.
It’s not just a look—it’s a narrative. One that plays with texture, silhouette, and just the right touch of gothic unease. The styling is sharp, the storytelling even sharper, and this moment? Already locked into my Best Dressed of the Year list.
Rainbow K jewels completed her look.
