After kicking off the The Fantastic Four: First Steps press tour back in February in Huntsville, Alabama, the world premiere brought things full circle on Monday night at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles.
What we didn’t realise in February was that Vanessa Kirby would take us on a masterclass in maternity style throughout this promo run—and what a journey it’s been. For the final stop, she served up her second Givenchy look of the tour.

Originally seen on the runway in white, black, and yellow, this mesh high-neck, long-sleeve dress was reimagined in a striking shade of TFFFS blue by Sarah Burton. A fitting choice to wrap the tour, and a clever nod to the film’s colour palette.

Yes, it’s sheer. And yes, it’s not going to win over anyone who’s sworn off see-through, especially those still holding a grudge from Charlize Theron’s Givenchy mesh jumpsuit moment. But I love how Vanessa hasn’t compromised her style for a second. This could’ve easily been another all-black moment—her comfort zone—but she went for vibrancy and didn’t hold back.

From the curve-skimming silhouette which flared at the hem to the Manolo Blahnik Priscahipla sandals in a perfectly matching hue, every detail was considered. Cartier jewellery and her glossy blonde hair swept to one side brought her signature elegance to the table.

A bold finale to a standout tour.
