It’s fair to say that Emma Stone’s Bugonia photocall look wasn’t well received earlier today during Venice Film Festival, but by evening she had a chance to win everyone back at the premiere. The question is—did she?
For me, the answer is yes. In fact, more than yes—I think she looked radiant. Her custom Louis Vuitton gown immediately set a different tone. Some might find the twisted balloon skirt detail a little tricky, but I found the silhouette refreshing. Without it, this could have been another straightforward column gown, but instead it offered something unexpected.

Sure, the twisted balloon skirt could’ve had a touch more volume, but the risk paid off. And the more I looked at it, the more it grew on me. By the time the full set of pictures rolled in, I was completely convinced this was a win, especially the when I saw the details from the closeups.

Perhaps it was that megawatt smile, or maybe it was the way the whole image just screamed “movie star”—either way, Emma delivered. It felt like a proper premiere moment: polished, intriguing, and ultimately unforgettable.
Louis Vuitton Fine Jewellery added the finishing touch.
