Vicky Krieps had quite the Sunday at the Venice Film Festival, promoting her new film Father Mother Sister Brother while also being unveiled as Bottega Veneta’s latest brand ambassador. Honestly, this wasn’t much of a surprise—after her all-Bottega wardrobe during Cannes, it already felt like the relationship was cemented. Now, it’s official-official, and perfectly timed, as Louise Trotter prepares to debut her first Bottega Veneta collection in September.

It was also a debut of her new bubblegum-pink hair. This fresh new shade worked surprisingly well with her olive green Bottega Veneta leather shirt and Bermuda shorts layered over a simple white vest. It leaned into that laidback, quietly confident menswear aesthetic that is a perfect fit for Vicky’s understated cool.

Premiere
This custom Bottega Veneta gown, designed by Louise Trotter, is sculptural minimalism at its finest. I love how the clean, architectural silhouette feels both powerful and effortless, with that asymmetric, leather-trimmed drape adding sharpness and drama. The gown has this incredible balance—structured enough to command attention, yet fluid enough to move beautifully as it falls to the floor. The styling keeps everything within the Bottega world with Rana mules, Intreccio earrings, stacked rings, and a sleek Drop bracelet from the fine jewellery collection. It’s modern, confident, and the kind of red-carpet look that proves you don’t need sequins or embellishment to make a major statement all the time.
