Jessica Chastain dropped by Live with Kelly and Mark to promote her Apple TV+ limited series The Savant, and while New York was grey and rain-soaked, Jessica came armed with sunshine in the form of a bold red Elie Saab Resort 2026 suit.
Now, red on Jessica is never a bad idea—she has the kind of colouring that can handle almost any bold shade.
The problem isn’t the colour, it’s the suit itself. Elie Saab usually gives me sharp glamour, but this double-breasted look lost some of its punch.
Maybe it’s that I expect more in terms of structure from Elie Saab, or maybe it’s Jessica’s own styling choices that let this one down. The scrunched sleeves and hands-in-pockets pose disrupted the clean lines, while the overlong flares only highlighted what we already know—wide-leg trousers aren’t her strongest suit. Need I remind you of her Oscar de la Renta look at The Flash LA premiere back in 2023?
That said, she still looked gorgeous, and the colour really did the heavy lifting. Sometimes it’s less about perfection and more about presence, and Jessica always has that.
